Abi has a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts from LIPA and has worked as an actor, dancer and choreographer for the last 12 years. She has worked extensively with young people, drawing upon her skills as a professional artist to inspire children and find innovative ways to enhance learning.
Abi has worked extensively in education, writing and delivering programmes of creative work that support and enhance the curriculum, by introducing new and exciting methods for children to engage with their class subject.
Abi has huge experience working with many children’s drama companies. She works in diverse settings - from staging an annual adaptation of a Shakespeare play performed by 200 primary school aged children for the last 8 years, to devising a production of Peter Pan with the children at Great Ormond Street Hospital School.
As a performer Abi has enjoyed an eclectic career playing roles such as Demeter in ‘Cats’ (European Tour) and Mrs Potifer in ‘Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat’ (UK Tour and New London Theatre), as well being a regular member of the panto team at Hackney Empire.
